My Clean Start
Refused to refund fee after learning application was done in error. Gave me 5 days to request refund didn't notice until day before 5th day

Equested on-line loan and evidently attached to application were 2 services you could also apply for. I never noticed them i only wanted the loan. Both withheld 49.95 each, caused 2 nsf fees with my bank. I contacted the bank on the 12th to find out what was going on they gave me the phone numbers of both companies.

The first company refunded with no problem. First contact with my clean start did not mention sending anything in writing within 5 days of loan application. The 2nd contact did but if i did not find out until the 12th the withholding mailed request for refund, arrived on the 15th at my clean start. I was then informed i was one day late for refund.

I have contacted bbb and division of consumer services in fl. This company is arrogant and extorts consumers.
