Inaccurate 1099 Ripoff

I was employed by Beth for close to 2 years and when I decided to leave she dragged her feet on paying me over $9,000 in fees for work completed. It took me 3 months of hounding her to pay me after I left her slipshod organization. To add insult to injury, she sent me a 1099 for this year stating that she paid me $8,000 in wages. After carefully reviewing my invoices and payments recevied, I discovered that the $8,000 she claims is income in 206 was already accounted for as part of my wages for 2005. I contacted her about this matter on 3/1/07 and she indicated that she would look into this. When I followed up with her on 3/23/07, this flaky b*tch makes excuses... Says she's totally busy and hasn't had time to address this with her accountant.
It's not enough that she doesn't keep her word about paying me $ she owes me on time, now she has to try and screw up my taxes!

Nice way to repay people who do good work for you for close to 2 years Beth. Good thing you found people who can write and spell... Since you can't do so to save your life.
