1099 delay

I called contacted Tradestation to report my 1099 that was sent to IRS was incorrect by a million dollars. The 1099 was available to me a month past dead line to add insult to injury.

Spoke to Tradestation help desk they said My 1099 is currently being reviewed and reworked, we have no control over our accounting firm and we are not TAX advisors. I never accused them of that level of inteligence they obviously have more to learn. So no help!

Then I had the team supervisor contact me Greg Setzo contact me to assure me that Tradestation has no control of their accounting firm. Wow... Really! As far as Mr Setzo was concerned this matter was closed. I assured him if I didn`t get my 1099 by dead line my account would be closed as well. Then he suggested I use the online tax summary to do my taxes... I guess he got educated at the school of dumb... He obviously does not realize the magnitude of my problem... IRS thinks I made 1 million dollars... Geeez! Hello Dumbo anybody home!

Extenstion was filed due to the irresponsibilty of Tradestation`s subcontractor, I will have interest penalities to pay due to errors borne by Tradestation. They sent out a general email stating they would have this corrected in a reasonable amount of time that was two months go! Unfortunately I will have to file suit. As of May 21 I still have no corrected 1099.
