Company is suing for an account closed in bankruptcy. Ripoff

This company, also called Midland, took me to court saying I owe them on an account that was settled in bankruptcy in 2000. When I got to court, the mediator said I couldn't ask for any proof I owe them, and I entered into a settlement, which I shouldn't have done. Now they are taking me back to court for a final judgement on an amount I do not owe.
