Emotional Trauma Caused by Rubin & Rothman, LLP Ripoff

I used to get calls from this company, but didn't respond because I had no credit card at the time because I filed bankruptcy in 1997. Just started to get my credit back in 2004. Then all of a sudden they put a judgement against my bank account and deducted $100.00 in legal fees. I was shocked. I called the bank, they told me to call the law firm, Rubin & Rothman. They were very rude to me and told me that I had a credit card from Orchard Bank in 2002 and did not pay it. They also told me that I was supposed to have appeared in court, which I never got any papers for. They are representing MRC Receivables. Mind you, I presently have an account with Orchard Bank in good standing opened in Sept. 2004. I could not have had any credit card earlier because of my bankruptcy. I called Orchard and they told me I had no prior card with them and asked them to write me a letter. I went to court to vacate the judgement and file a show cause. I now have a court date for next week. They also sent my employer a questionaire about my earnings because they are probably coming after that next. I am a single working grandmother raising my 3 year old granddaughter and have been put under extreme stress because of them.
