I have a construction company that was and still is experiencing tax debt. Back in 2004 I was hanging on by a thread with my company and life when i finally responded to one of the multiple mailings that this company sent me. I needed relief, and I was scared for what the IRS might do. I called the company and confided in a certain rep, I mean I told him everything that he wanted to know and how i got into this debt. He then told me that this is a cookie cutter case and for $3300.00 he could settle my case for a lot less than what i owed. After several more conversations, I finally took the bait sent the money via credit card, signed all the paper work, called back a week later to discuss my case and was told this person has taken a leave of absense! But they can keep my case going if i file a new power of attorney! From this I assumed that he was fired, or they are lying to me! Either way, someone there lied to me and they weren't going to refund my money! Bottom line, I lost to the IRS, CAPITOL TAX is 3300.00 richer, and I am still pissed off that i even fell for this scam!!! They are still sending me mailings
