Mrs. Kelly falsely accusing student loan owed. I have documentation that it was paid

On Thursday April 6. Mrs Kelly contacted me from NCO financial stating that I owed a balance on a student loan from 1984. This loan was paid in full in 1997. I told her that and asked her for her fax number to send her the copy of the check front and back endorsed and cashed by the lender. She said no that it didn't matter and that my wages would be garnished. I pleaded with her to give me the fax number and she would NOT!!! I became angry and she said again that it didn't matter what proof I had, and refused to give me the fax number. I shouldn't be shocked. These people at NCO are desparate to make a commission not matter what. I have been through this before with another collection agency about 2 1/2 years ago. They finally, even after receiving my proof they kept pursuing it in an unprofessional yet unsucessful manner. I contacted an attorney who wrote them a letter and again enclosed my documentation of proof that it was paid. They then gave up. Now it is the evil of all evils. Nco. This woman, Mrs. Kelly (She called herself) although I don't think anyone in that business gives their correct name), would not even discuss the fact that I had proof and REFUSED to give me the fax number! Can you believe??!! It is one thing if I did owe it. Then fine, but it was paid! Sorry NCO you won't RIP OFF another victim!!! Not ME!!!
