They ripped me off by charging my bank account $7.00 per month for over a year without my authorization. Ripoff

Entertainmnt*rewards charged $7.00 each month to my checking account for one year before agreeing to refund my money. I found their number on the internet several months ago, called them and asked them to cancel this acount that I never authorized. I was told that I must have accidentally ordered the service, which I had never heard of before they debited my bank account. It seems that when I ordered tickets from Ticket Master and used my bank account information, Entertainmnt*rewards got the information and began illegally debiting my bank account.

I spoke to one of their employees. They agreed to stop taking money from my bank account, but they did not stop. They promised to cancel the account which I never authorized and refund me three months worth of charges, because they stated that they could not go back any further than three months to refund money.

Three months after that conversation, my bank account was still being debited for $7.00 per month. So, not only did they fail to refund my money, they continued to take it, after being told to cancel it and take no more.

In the interim, the company changed their telephone number. I finally located their new number by calling Reservation Rewards, who is apparently connected to that company. I talked to another one of their employees who told me the same thing & that he would cancel my account and refund me the last three months of my money. Since I had been fed this bogus line before, I asked to speak to a supervisor. After a very long wait, a nice man who calls himself "Bert" told me that he would definitely see to it that I would be refunded the entire year's charges of $7.00 per month. I was given a confirmation number. Of course, I was told that it will be 7-10 business days before the refunded money will actually appear in my bank account.

I'm wondering if the company will change its telephone number again, or if they will actually refund my money. At least, now when I go to my bank to report the bank fraud, I'll have some viable information. However, I have no idea what city or state this company is in. So, the best I can hope for is to have my money refunded. This does nothing for the months of interest accrued that they should be made to pay for using my money for a year. Nor does not compensate me for the aggravation of having to chase this matter down. It's very unfair to their potential customers to conduct business this way. But then again, their entire business may be built on scamming unassuming people like me, who only wanted to buy circus tickets through Ticket Master.
