Beware of Jet Movers! I too have been ripped off by false promotions of their moving business. I recently moved from Kentucky to North Carolina to begin a job and hired Jet Movers to help with my move. They asked when I would be in NC and I let them know more than once that I would be there July 9th and I asked to have my furniture picked up with enough time to get it there that weekend. The representative recommended the 2nd of July because they "average 7 to 10 days." Well, it's the 20th, I have no furniture, no set delivery date and no help from Jet Movers. They can only tell me that they will call when they know. I also was charged $500 more once my furniture was on the truck. When we contacted them last week they claimed that the driver with my information had been "out" and that he would be back that night? It has been bullshit and more bullshit from the company including the so called owner Simon. Here is a copy of the email that I recently sent them:

To Whom It May Concern:

I am currently under contract with you and unfortunately you have my furniture and other belongings. I say unfortunately because it is obvious that I have made a mistake by choosing Jet Movers, Inc. I just finished reading rip off reports about your company and what's funny is that they sounds exactly like my story. It seems to me like Jet Movers has a story (or many) and they stick to them. I am sorry to say but the way the business is run is pretty unethical. I understand you have to make a living but I would think there are better ways to go about it than to mislead individuals and withhold their belongings when they are trusting this company to help them in their move, not hinder them. I'm sure this message will be to no avail as it is obvious that other unhappy customers have yet to restructure your business techniques but I just hope that I can extend to others the disappointment that you have brought me and apparently many others. I am expecting my furniture next week and if not, I am expecting a full refund as you have cost me both money and sanity while waiting for my things. You follow strictly to your 5 - 15 business day contract and so am I. I will see you next week.
