I chose this moving company by looking at the better business bureau and checking their rating, which was pretty high, "BBB".

I called several times and spoke with Ellswyth Owen. We had a large 2 bedroom, 1100 sf townhome in Glendale and were moving to a similar place in Irvine. We have alot of stuff and it was our first time using a moving company so I asked alot of questions. Ellswyth assured me that her moving people were professional, knew how to handle any moving situation. I asked her for an estimate of time how long the moving would take and she emphatically stated that she could not give me a timeframe but that the movers would take however long as necessary. We hired 3 movers for $95 an hour, including double drive time, apparantly that's standard for movers.

We agreed that the movers would come at 8am the day of the move. The night before the big move, Ellswyth called me and asked if the movers could come at 7am. I told her NO. I got a second call from the owner (I think) who asked me again if the movers could come at 7am, again I said NO, and of course the day of the move, we the movers came at 7am. On top of that, the movers were very slow and although they started at 7am, they barely finished putting all of our stuff in the truck by 1pm. Once we got to our new place, we found out that the movers had scheduled another client for 3pm and they had to leave by 2pm. Needless to say, most of our stuff was not put into our home but instead left in our garage for ourselves to move into the home. Also, the movers took apart most of the big furniture to get everything to fit into the truck. It barely fit. But because they had to leave by 2pm, they left everything unassembled for us and we had to fumble our way through reassembling everything!

It was definitely a hard move and I would not recommend using this company!
