Traveling charge moving company ripoff

We hired Circle City Movers to help us with our relocation. When we called we were told we would be charged 60 dollars per hr for 2 movers, 80 dollars per hr for 3 movers and a 35 charge for moving our big screen tv and we would have to have a 3hr minimum.

When the movers got there not only were they extremely slow in moving our 2 bedroom apt just 1 mile. They also damaged and broke some of my furniture. To top it off they had a 60 dollar travel charge for coming out to move us that we did not know about and even asked us the paying customers to help move our furniture. I thought that was what we hired them for.

The mover advised we should call to complain because the company always fails to tell the customer of the travel charge and stated that "sometimes it gets ugly" and he was advised on occasion by the company not to move anything off of the truck.

When I called to make my complaint I was told that I would not be getting any compensation and then was further insulted and called a Black female dog by the owner of Circle City Movers.

Just beware of the type of people you pay for services
