The Airline Academy is a scam. Al Herbert is a high-powered recruiter of the Airline Academy who, along with nearly 100 more people, lures citizens into a fake aviation school that offers its main program for $7000, which they call a Certified Flight Attendant program. Jet Blue U in Orlando is in on the scheme. Do not waste your money.
The Airline Academy is owned by William F Stephens, Jillian Micker Stephens and Cynthia Stephens. This is not a real school and not a viable source of job opportunities. It solicits a Flight Attendant certification course when no one at this place has any approved FAA 14CFR121 license to teach flight attendant courses. No one at the Airline Academy is accredited by the Department of Education or the Federal Aviation Administration.
The owner William F Stephens and his associates, along with Jet Blue U in Orlando, are in breach of several statutes and laws. Here are just a few of the actions: education fraud, extortion, federal statutes such as intrastate solicitation of fake education, impersonating a federal agency, FAA abuse of certification and regulation, irregular IRS matters, intent to defraud the IRS and SSI business ethics, and misrepresentation in advertising (FTC, Federal Trade Commission).
