Stan Pike furniture maker
Paid $2720.00 for custom made apothecary chest in February. Never received chest. He will not even respond to my e-mails or phone calls

I ordered a custom-made apothecary chest from a website called "Stan Pike furniture maker". He had lovely pictures of his work on his website and he responded quickly to my inquiries. I paid for half of the price up front for him to purchase materials and start on the project. I paid $1360 in August.in January I received an e-mail saying that he was only a few weeks away from completing the project and that he would need the balance. So I sent $1360 via Pay-Pal in February. Over the following months I sent several e-mails inquiring about the chest. He would not respond for several weeks and when he did respond it was only to make apologies and say he would finish soon.

It is now November and he will not respond to e-mails or phone calls. I have given up all hope of receiving my apothecary chest but I would like to get the word out about this man so other people don't get ripped-off like I did!
