This guy walked off the job with my money

I entered an agreement in 2008 with Dale English to replace my kitchen cabinet door and drawer fronts.

I paid him a down payment plus a progress payment to his wife Sharon to finish the job — this entailed his responsibility of supplying new replacement cabinet door and drawer fronts which he ordered to be custom made from a company that makes these pieces.

He delivered the cabinet door and drawer fronts, I paid him a generous progress payment and said he would return to install them. He never came back nor returned any of my calls or emails to finish the job.

He had many of the cabinet door and drawer fronts made incorrectly. I had to have them remade at my expense and then pay another contractor to complete the job.

Dale caused me to delay putting my condo on the market to sell for a few months as I had to finish up the kitchen remodeling work he walked away from.in addition to the materials and subsequent contractors cost, I suffered a drop in the value of my house as the market values were rapidly declining.
