Dishonesty and faulty work - kitchen remodel

On December 3, we contracted with you to do our cabinets. We were promised they would be done before Christmas. Today is January 6, and our kitchen is still not done. Not only is it not finished, but some of your workers damaged some of the cabinets and our floor. We were told your workers would be out on certain days and no one showed up, causing us to miss other appointments and lose work. The last time you spoke to my husband you stated that we must pay the balance of what we owed, and you told him an amount that is higher then we owe, You told him we owe 1400.00, and that it wasd 1500.00 but you took $100.00 off which your boss did not want you to. But in fact our balance was $1400.00 before that deduction. Leaving a balance due of $1300.00. I have a signed receipt stating that. That $100.00 was not a discount, but a price adjustment because originally we were charged for a 24" pantry and only an 18" pantry would fit. So the value difference was subtracted from the amount due. I told you just last week that the balance due would be paid as soon as the work was finished.By asking for the balance to be paid before the work is done, you are breaking the law. My husband and I are tired of excuses and days where nobody nobody shows up. The day the grandite men came they were here until after Midnight! The neighbors complained to me the following day because of all the noise. The only reason I did not make them quit as that I felt they would be done soon, and wasn't sure when you would send them back to finish the job. The following is what still needs to be done to complete our kitchen:

1. Replace the cabinet drawer that the grandite people chipped.

2. Replace the marble tile the grandite people cracked.

3. Fix the side cabinet that now is slanted after the grandite was put in.

4. Place wood between the top of the trash compacter and the bottom of the grandite.

5.install Kitchen cabinet and drawer knobs.

6. Drill hole in grandite and install the rest of the kitchen faucet mount.

7. Fix cupboard door that opens the wrong way.
