Nuisance manufacturing defects

Places where the blinds are held for painting in the manufacturing process on some sizes leave blemishes.in our case one right over the sink is blemished (the other was blemished but not as severely) and no touchup paint is offered by the company. Home depot does the best they can but due to their relationship with the company ONLY an exchange is possible. If one does not pick up the replacement blind they will be charged for the additional blind. This may sound sensible and business like but was a hassle and eventually harassment for us.in the future we will inspect all products (take them out of the cartons and bags) before accepting them at Home Depot (which won't thrill them!). The additional transportation, phone calls, and stress will be avoided.
