Steve Nicholson Bad countertop

We hired Smoothcrete to pour concrete countertops in our newly renovated kitchen July. We emailed Steve pictures from his website of the two colours we wanted and the edge we wanted. We did not get anything close. The one colour is not even close to what we asked for and the edges are rough and the sinks are not square.

Then the sealant went wrong and now we have huge white streaks on the countertop. We tried many times to contact Steve by phone and email to get him to come back and see if he could fix it. He actually emailed me and said I was harassing him. I told him to remove his phone number from his website and business card then. I only contact him by email now.

We paid him the day he finished pouring the countertop with the understanding that he was coming back to fix the edges. The white streaks showed up a week later and now he won't come back or answer our emails. Our mistake was paying him in full before we got him back to fix it.

Please be carefull if you are considering hiring Smoothcrete.
