Bad engines Poor performance Un-reliable

I purchased a snowthrower with one of their engines on it (MTD), it worked for 2 storms in After following their reccomendations for storage in the summer, I put fresh gas in and went to use it on the first storm of the 2008 season, and it continued to stall out. I then brought to one of their autuorized service centers, had the carb cleaned, soaked, adjusted to specs, a new primer on, at a cost of $80.00. Went to use it on the next storm and ir ran for 5 mins and stalled and would not start. Back to the shop to be adjusted again. Now the 3rd storm same problem and it sits in the garage as I shovel the snow again. I have contacted the engine maker and the maker of the machine only to get a run arround. Do not purchase any tool with one of these engines on it, if their own service centers cant make ir run, you will continue to waste your cash, time and patience
