Nearly SCAMMED! Deceptive company

I too was nearly scammed by J & J Electronics for a Digital Cable Converter. I was contacted by the owner concerning ordering a converter that would work with all digital systems. I was told to do the transaction on a C.O.D. Basis only and that the unit would be shipped via 2 day Fedex ground.

I started getting bad vibes when I received a call from the owner 2 days later with the proper tracking number since he had given me the wrong number the day after the sale. I was asked if I had received my package and was told that it was in and I should receive it that day. I asked for a web site address so that I could view there return policy with guarantee.

I was told that he didn't know the web address right at that time but would call me back with the address later that day. I never received the call and have been searching for the company on the internet every since with no luck.

After reading a consumer complaints about the guy in Hawaii with the same company selling the same product coming from the same location I immediately called FedEx and refused the C.O.D. And told them to send it back to sender. Thank Goodness for consumer complaintss, I was just about ready to go pick the package up and fork over my hard earned $350.00.
