Home Depot - Bait & Switch Windows Buyer Beware

My wife and I ordered 21 windows from Home Depot on March 12. We were assured the American Craftsman Series 12 were quality windows.
About halfway through the installation, the installation crew indicated that many of the windows were bowed, did not work properly and were, quite frankly, junk windows. Told by the salesperson these were a product of Anderson Windows, we come to find out they are only made by a company owned by Anderson Windows.
After several inspections, experiments with single rather than double windows, representatives of Home Depot (Aaron Spiezer) agreed the product was defective and Home Depot would replace the entire job with a quality window.
At the next meeting with Mr. Spiezer, he wanted us to agree to replace all of the windows with American Craftsman AC 86 series windows. We asked to see a sample but he only had an 8500. When asked for a brochure, he had nothing. We called the manufacturer who does not have this series listed on their website and after being placed on hold several times, I was told they had no information on the window and that we would have to deal directly with Home Depot.
The big news is that Mr. Spiezer wanted us to sign an agreement giving him an
additional $3500 without ever seeing this new window. Now all correspondence has stopped, we are contesting all charges on our credit card ($10,691) and we have canceled the order. Buyers beware of Home Depot's bait & switch tactics!
