Freezing Family Getting Heated but Still NO HEAT

In December I contacted First American when my furnace made a loud BOOM noise and when I went to look at it there was a puddle on the floor and steam shooting out of a pipe. A plumber was sent who made some repairs and said all was good. Well all is not good.

Ever since the plumber "repaired" my furnace, my heat will not reach the temperature I set my thermostat for. It is currently 9 degrees outside, my thermostat is set at 70 yet it says the temperature in here is currently 52. We are freezing in our home! I can turn it up to 80 and it still doesn't get warmer in here.

I contacted First American again in early January and they sent the plumber to look at my furnace again. His determination was there is nothing wrong and that it must be caused by drafts in my house. Well why did I not have this problem BEFORE he "fixed" my furnace?

I am still fighting to get this problem corrected which is ridiculous that I have to FIGHT a company in order to get them to help us. I don't know why they have a website to request service because no one EVER calls you if you request service online.
