First American Home Buyers Warranty
Have fun freezing to death waiting months for your furnace. You have to pay to install it too

My furnace was found to be blowing carbon monoxide into the house so it needed to be replaced. Great, I have a home warranty

Current temperature: 68.

Weeks go by. No answer. The phone operator at First American states, "We are waiting for the report from the service company." The phone operator at the service company states, "We are waiting for approval from First American." This goes on for over a week.

Current temperature: 57.

Service company comes out and gives me estimate. Great, I can rest assured knowing a quality warranty company has this covered. Wrong. First American states, "We pay for the furnace. We don't pay for the $1400 in other costs to install it. Oh yeah, it will be about 2 weeks before it is installed, hopefully."

Current temperature: 51. It will be going down to 42 tonight. This should make for an exciting two weeks.

If you happen to see one of the First American policies, don't buy it. It's not worth your time to read it, and you'll be even sorrier if you actually buy a plan with First American.

My guess is the First American turd they call a warranty would break your toilet if you tried to flush it, and I'm certain they wouldn't cover the toilet.
