Never sent merchandise, poor response, no refund Matthews, NC 28105

I ordered dishes and flatware from this company on Sept. 3rd. I was told it would take 4-6 weeks for me to get my order. I figured it would be in plenty time for the holidays. After 8 weeks, I contacted them again and was told that it would be going out in 1-2 weeks (with no acknowledgement of the already existing delay), but that part of my order was back-ordered, so they would contact me with an ETA for that.

After 3 weeks of receiving nothing and no further updates, I emailed again asking them to either get back to me with a shipping number or to cancel my order and refund the money. It always takes them days to get back to you and they don't respond to messages left on their voicemail (there is no way to speak to them directly). Finally I got a response just like the ones I always got that was they would check with the warehouse and that I should check back with them later in the week for an update.

At this point, I was extremely fed up as it had been 3 months! So I sent an email asking for them to cancel the order and issue me a refund. It took a couple of emails sent by me and finally I got a response saying that they had canceled my order per my request. Now it has been over a week and no refund and no response to my emails asking about that. They are in clear violation of the Federal Credit Lending Act (which my bank who is now disputing this transaction agreed with me on.)

As you can see from the other postings on here, this is a pattern for them, not an exception. I am thinking that they take people's money, delay shipments and earn interest off the money. There can be no other explanation for such behavior.
