Misleading Sales Tactics, Failure to Disclose, and Horrilble Customer Service

This company needs to be stopped by someone. They pray on older people and use intimidating tactics to sell alarm systems.

The day before they showed up there were a few suspicious looking people in the neighborhood, that looked like they were casing the area. The following day, this Mormon boys show up selling alarm systems to my parents. Very clean cut. My parents don't speak english and they signed them up for a 3 year contract.

They failed to disclosed to them that a police permit was needed for having an alarm systen Los Angeles.

Their alarm system was faulty, and not working at all. I called to have it repaired and it took them over 30 days to send someone to fix it. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told "it was not going to happened".

A few weeks after that we had a false alarm. The alarm was turned-off when we got home, only to have the cops show up 5 hours later. It scared the hell out of my parents. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR SOMEONE WITH A HEART CONDITION.

The cops threaten to ticket them for not having a permit which only made them nervous. I called the company, the agent was clue less. Asked to speak to a supervisor and again was told there was not supervisor available.

The alarm system did not work as promised. Calls were suppose to go out to 3 alternative numbers. All this numbers have caller ids and we showed no calls being received in that time period. No one from the alarm company called to notify us of the alarm.

All in all this company is not to be trusted! Sure they employ kids for the summer, and help them get through college, but so do many other companies on which we don't trust our security.
