A-Fair Appliance
Beware bait and switch

Construction & Repair

My parents are elderly, so we thought it would be best to purchase a washer thru A-Fair. We requested a Maytag washer with super load capacity and delicate cycle. When the washer was delivered it was a Crosley brand, which is made by the same company (Whirlpool) that makes the Maytag. From my research, it is considered a 'low' grade washer. It did not have the delicate cycle. I tried to call Mr. Peyton, but he got very very aggresive on the phone with me when I tried to explain we wanted a delicate cycle washer. We were also very disappointed it was not explained to us about the name brand. Mother, who is 75 years old, felt guilty in not accepting this washer upon delivery.

Mr. Peyton, sweared the washer would do the same thing as delicate cycle. I tried to tell him the delicate cycle is low agitate and low spin, but he refused to let me explain it to him. We requested the washer to exchanged with what we wanted, extra large capacity and delicate cycle. He said the only way he would exchange the washer would be thru the court system.
