Neptune washer junk, not worth the money, constantly break down

Will never buy another maytag product!

Overpay and quality is horrible.

In the first couple of years, the belt kept falling off the front loading maytag neptune washer. I opened up the back, and put it back on. It's a pain, but not very difficult. Now, after just a little over three years, the washer will not complete it's cycle. It stops prior to completion of the spin cycle. Called maytag service, they tell me i need a whole new "outer tub" and "spinner support" labor, for a total of $372.43

Speaking withthe technician, i gathered he had seen this problem before. Maytag will not admit to any defects, and the usual, you are out of warranty.

Prior to this maytag washer, i had a simple sears kenmore, lasted 22 years with me changing the belt at abount the 15 year mark.

Wished i had never bought a maytag, and their service is horrible.
