Ripoff, a value for the employees, thieves

We bought a table and chair set and a sofa from value city. The table while under warranty started to chip and since we paid 500 plus for it i called to have them fix it as they claim they would. They never showed up.

I called to find out why and they said they needed to change the date and would call back. They never did. I called them and they told me the warranty did not cover a simple scratch and they werent going to honor their warranty.

The sofa we bought from them was a joke as well. We paid 70 just for the stainsafe. The idiots at value city stained our couch with the stain protector. They refused to take it back claiming that it was not their place to fix their mistake. They admitted to staining the couch but refused to fix it.

They claimed that the salesman was supossed to give us a copy of the warranty with the cleaning kit. He did not. He simply gave us the display bottle ad said it was the same as the kit. They were supossedly out of the kit.

We ended up losing money on the couch and table and chairs because of their unwillingness and laziness in honoring warranties.
