Dishonest, poor craftmanship, non-responsive to complaints, no show for meeting scheduled to discuss remainder of project

Tim Coppola & Sons were hired to put new siding and windows to our home. It was promised to us that he would begin the job on April 25 and be done in 14 business days. It is now June 10 and they are still not finished.

Tim took 2 weeks alone to install the windows which left our family extremely inconvenienced due to the fact that we have a 1 year old baby. There were paint chips and dust all over our home for weeks and we finally had to explain that we would be taking some of what we owed him away if it was not completed by a certain date. They did get completed.

In the beginning, we were told that there would be approximately 5 individuals working on our home in order for it to get finished on time. There was only 2 (his son and a friend).

One week on a Tuesday (May 31st), Tim promised the project would be completed by Friday because our family was having a family gathering on Saturday (Tim knew about this family gathering in April when we arranged for him to do the work). He did not show up at all the rest of the week. Tim did not call us to inform us of his reason for not showing to complete the job.in response we called and left numerous messages for him. He claims he had a "family emergency" and had to go to Florida.

After this incident we explained that we would like the project completed by the next Friday (June 10th) and he promised it would be done. He did not offer us the courtesy to let us know that he would be hiring subcontractors to complete the project.

We happened to take time off from work to come home to communicate with Tim and found two men we did not know working on our home.

We were not pleased with the craftmanship of the exterior windows and when the sub-contractors were questioned regarding this they commented that they had to do the job they were doing because the siding around the windows was not done with quality.

When Tim was contacted regarding our concerns he agreed to meet with us in the evening of June 9th and did not show up.

Our family does not believe that Tim Coppola has any integrity in his work and he has not been honest at all about completion dates or his commitments.
