Broken microwave arrived late, store offered only credit

Don't ever buy from The Brick.
We bought a microwave on 1 December which was supposed to be delivered a week later. It took 2 weeks to arrive, and it did not work. We were told to wait for a tech to come and evaluate it. They did not call us on the contact numbers, so the tech came when we were not home. They have had our money since Dec 1 and we do not intend to wait until their 'expected' date of arrival for a new one...
We took it back to the store today and they refused to give us back our money... A credit only. As if I would ever want to buy something there again.
I will badmouth this store for the rest of my life!!!
