Broken Washing Machine - LG will not send replacement part - LG Washing Machine WM2655HVA

I bought an LG washing M/C WM2655HVA in 2012 and installed in a seasonal use home. About 10 washes later the washer stopped working. LG approved techs would not service my unit as it is to far from service depot locations. As an engineer, I decided to diagnose and repair unit. OEM replacement was obtained and installed - machine working perfectly. LG will not repair or replace defective component. Shame!
