NTB "discount" oil change/tire rotation - Oil change

I responded to an online oil change/tire rotation deal for $19.99. I submit my info and head down to the store. They had no info about my appointment, but I did get in. The employee started right in with the upselling. He offered the upgraded oil change for $46. I would get $20 back by mail, so in the end, the oil change would be $5 cheaper. I passed. I was told the service would take 60-90 minutes. About 30 minutes later, I received a call from the technician. He informs me a rear stabilizer link needs to be fixed for $275. I tell him to just do I what I requested. I returned within the hour. I was handed the bill, which is $5 higher than the advertized special. I point out the error. Employee responds, we'll just give it to you. I respond he's not giving me anything, the bill is wrong. He redoes the bill. Then the employee points out "recommended" services: wheel alignment, bulb replacement, loose muffler clamp. Then I was offered an in-store credit card to made the oil change free. I passed, of course. I haven't been fleeced this much since the 1980s when I used Jiffy Lube. I do not like the way NTB does business, and will not do business with NTB AGAIN! They are sleaze bags!
