Jiffy lube
Charged me over triple the cost needed and did not do some of the work they charged me for!

Jiffy lube is taking advantage of people. They place the signs outside for oil changes that are $19.99 or less to get people in there, but once the work is complete then they hand you over a bill for an outrageous price.

I took my Ford to jiffy lube one weekday when they had an oil change special on, but they ended up charging me over $80. They told me that it was extra for synthetic oil. I was so mad and in a hurry I paid and left. Later I looked at the bill and they even charged me for a tire rotation in which I did not ask for and I did not recieve this service. I know they did not rotate my tires because I had one of my rear center caps stolen and it was still on missing from that tire when I looked at it.

I usually take my Ford to Firestone and they charge me $30 for an oil change and tire rotation. Jiffy lube really ripped me off. Then I really found out how much they ripped me off when I went out of town to see my brother who is a mechanic. He told me that the cost of my vehicle to get the oil change is CHEAPER than most vehicles in general. He even took me to a regular auto store and showed me that the synthetic oil for Ford was less than most all. It would cost him less than $20 for the oil and filter if he just bought it off the shelve, not to mention the discounts places like jiffy lube gets on oil.

I will continue to let everyone I know to NOT go to jiffy lube for any service. I also believe they tried to take advantage of me because I am a young female. They are nothing but crooks. I caution everyone to please STAY AWAY FROM JIFFY LUBE!!
