Sears AC annual check — STAY AWAY from the blue crew

AC guy came for annual check on unit. It was working fine when he arrived at 70 degrees. He was in and out in no time. Said unit was fine and filter was dirty and needed to be changed. After he left the AC never turned back on. 2 hours later when I was near the unit I heard a hissing and realized it was not turning on. Called their 1800 and told them the AC was not working since the blue crew guy left. They said they would send a technician out in a couple of days. I insisted this was something their guy did since it was working fine when he was here. "we cannot say that our technician had anything to do with it, but we can send you a technician to tell you what is wrong with the unit." I kept telling the lady there was nothing wrong with it when he showed up, which leads me to believe he had something to do with it.
By chance my neighbor was having an AC installed that day so we flagged down the guy from the other company to help us. Our blue crew technician had left the fan unplugged and the AC was completely frozen up. He had to thaw it out and plug the fan in. Thank goodness for honest people. I will never call SEARS again.
