Sears Blue Service Crew won't work with us on scheduling recalled product service - LG top loading washer WT5001CW

Received a recall notice on my LG washing machine which I purchased from Sears (with an extended warranty) in 2011. Called to schedule a service appointment to have the repairs done. Was told they only service my area on Tuesday and Thursday between 8am and 5pm. We have someone home on Friday of each week during those hours. Both the initial contact and the escalation manager refused to discuss any options for having this recall notice handled properly that didn't involve someone in my family taking an entire day off from work to be home. Now I have a washing machine that is DANGEROUS to use and can't get Sears to come and repair.
