Forced into oncoming traffic

I was driving east on Marietta ST NW at around 1:30 pm. I crossed over Northside Drive and proceeded in the toward the next intersection. As I looked ahead I could see that there was a postal vehicle in the curb lane ahead, somewhere between Mc Lendon ST NW and Means ST NW. Just before we got near the postal truck the bus driver tooted the horn and immediately bombarded into my lane. I had no choice but to move into the lane of oncoming traffic, to avoid being hit by the bus. The cars in the oncoming lane began to blow their horns at me, and thankfully there was not an accident. The driver then got over into the turning lane, so I pulled along side the bus. I assumed that the driver was going to apologize for the mistake but instead she looked over at me with disdain and continued through the light. I am very offended by this behavior and a simple apology would have made this situation better since no one was hurt. This driver should be reprimanded for her bad driving because it could have been a serious accident. The driver was very discourteous and disrespectful. The bus number is 2425.
