Byron Tarlton, CEO, Withheld Pay and Expenses Owed when I quit, Cheated out of Hours Worked versus Paid, Accused of purposely breaking Company Vehicle, Jenkintown

Be very careful when considering employment with this company. I was lied to from the start about benefits and pay I would receive. I was told by Byron (CEO of Company) that I would be paid from the time I left home to do job, till I got home which never happened and when I questioned it as I was annoyed about pay on certain jobs completed, he said "I don't pay you to take breaks and he would quote what the Flat rate value of job was but I was paid HOURLY and not FLAT RATE, so, just an excuse to pay me less for the job than I should have received. ALSO, I was screwed out of last pay and reimbursements for tolls etc and the boss used the excuse that I intentionally damaged the company vehicle. (an old retired school district of Phila van with over 100,000 miles bought at auction for $400 and was falling apart) The van broke apart at 65 MPH driving on the interstate and not my fault and absolutely no malicious intent at all. The Air Compressor and Generator and supplies and Big tools provided for Wheel removal etc are Low Quality Japan / China and break in middle of job... They Charge the Customer for the job and give them a expected time as when it will be completed, knowing that I have a job still in process and therefore making customers wait over 8 hours for service which causes them to be extremely upset with me. * Understand that I have been a Diesel Technician for 20 years and have references to stand behind my excellent record and work ethics, However, this Young CEO Byron, treats you as if you were the hired new guy that knows nothing about the job and yet I completed every job dispatched to me with customers complete satisfaction (except for price, which I had no control over).

The dispatchers leave a lot to be desired as they are not trained and prefer to argue with you rather than to assist you and they make promises to customers that cause them to be angry with you when you show up. Waiting for Billing and payment take a while also testing customers patience. I feel that the company cares little about its employees and only about the bottom line and how they can get the most out of you for as little as possible exactly the reason they kept my money. Very Limited Business skills and attitude to match. Do yourself a favor and just DON'T that way you have nothing to be sorry about.
