Ipoff cheated employees and screwed the customers

I am a former employee of this company. I quit because of how I was treated while employed there. Itin scales is a very unprofessional company. Most of Itin's business is done through their website, www.itinscales.com and www.scalesgalore.com.

When customers would call to order a particular item, they would often be told that a product was in stock even if it was not. Customers would then pay a good amount of extra money on shipping to get the product delivered overnight.

Meanwhile, the product is out of stock. The bosses would tell the customers that the product is in stock just to keep the sale. Then when the customer complained that the product was not received overnight, Itin would blame the problem on UPS.

While I was working for Itin, I was treated like dirt. The bosses would fight with each other and yell at the employees. I would get scared and hide in the bathroom. They made promises to me about my pay and my hours, both of which they broke.

Itin is a family run company who only cares about themselves. I am 21 and came to New York without my family. Russ, the big boss at Itin, knew of this... But still cut my hours to part time and gave the hours to his daughters.

I was very upset when this happened and was determined to leave this selfish company, which I now have. Itin pays their employees in cash and does not deduct taxes from their employee's income. There are bosses working at Itin driving new cars and buying new houses while not paying any tax out of their pay.

I have reported them to the IRS and hopefully they will have to pay what they owe. Itin basically treats everyone they come in contact with like dirt. Whether it be their customers or employees, Itin treats them both like s*.
