Package left outside door, then given to a neighbor

About a month ago (late Sept or early Oct), I came home around 2325 to find my package outside my door. I was lucky it wasn't stolen. I notified Amazon (where the package was shipped from) of what had happened and asked them to put a notice on the package to prevent this from happening again.
Today (11-14) I arrived home around 2215 and my neighbor had accepted the package. This is unacceptable. I don't trust my neighbor and we really don't get along.
The package should have been left in the apartment office, like UPS and USPS do. This is a bad practice and should be stopped immediately. If you continue this practice, I'll be sure to redirect future deliveries through another service.
