False report

On Monday, July 6 I was in my apartment until 5pm because I was expecting a package from Amazon, shipped through UPS. I was merrily doing my work, thinking that the UPS driver will either ring the buzzer, which they sometimes do, or leave the package outside the front or second door of my apartment building, which they almost always do. Around 5pm, getting bored, I decided to leave my building, and on the way out, I saw InfoNotice about my package, which required a signature. I thought I must've missed the buzzer because I was listening to music, which wasn't very loud. I signed the back of InfoNotice to let the driver know that he/she could leave the package at my neighbor's or inside the door for tomorrow, since I was working the next day.

Around the same time next day, website noted that a delivery attempt was made, and when I got back home, the package hadn't b een delivered as it usually is when there's no one to sign for it. The first Infonotice had another one on top of it, and I took them both. Today, I was at home all day, especialy for the package, hope I would get my order from Amazon, which, by the way, I paid the shipping for. Between 2-3, I made sure I was more than 3 feet of my buzzer. I went online at 3:00pm and it said that an attempt had been made at 2:46 pm. WTF???

The driver didn't ring the buzzer nor did he leave the package outside as they usually do. Did they really try to deliver or it was a no go from the very beginning? I doubt that they even had my package! I called Amazon, and after they talked to UPS, they said I could go to UPS holding center and pick it up (which is not close to anywhere I live, and I dont have a car, I'm in a big Northeastern city), or let them send it back to Amazon. I told the Amazon people never to send stuff through the most unreliable service, worse than USPS!!!
