Ripoff, fraudulent billing, unauthorized bank transactions, harrasment with late night phone calls, promised not to stop harrasing me until their problems were solved

Drive Financial Services, a finance company in Dallas Texas has been harassing me for 3 months concerning an accounting error that THEY made. To make a long story short, the company automatically deducted 2 car note payments from my checking account in the month of July. They admitted that there was a system "upgrade" that caused the error. Since then, not only have they not refunded my money, they are sending me statements stating that my car note is 1 month BEHIND!

They call my house and job an average of 4 times daily including nights and weekends asking for another payment including late fees. They informed me that my loan is becoming in poor standing. I have faxed them bank statements showing the error and they insist that I am 1 month behind in payment.

My bank has verified that I have never made a late payment and if anything, my account should be showing 1 payment ahead due to the extra transaction that occurred in July. I told them that I harassed and that I did not want to be contacted by telephone regarding the matter any longer.

They told me that they WERE NOT going to stop calling me until the matter was resolved.in response I stated that there was nothing else that I could do other than provide proof of payment, which I did, and the error needed to be corrected in their systems. They still insist that I need to do "something" to correct the problem.

I also faxed a letter requesting that they stop taking my car note directly from my checking account and they have not stopped that either. I am afraid that this issue is affecting my credit. It is very upsetting to my family and I as I debate with them every evening. I would like to get them out of my life all together.
