Unfair refund policy - Hair treatment

I bought a voucher for hair treatment costing $150. The merchant canceled on me twice and eventually told me she was unable to work weekends, which was not in the agreement. Hair treatment usually lasts 4 hours and since I am working on weekdays, weekends would be the only time for me to get this kind of treatment. Merchant was willing to refund and told me she had written a letter to living social to allow my refund. But living social's refund policy does not allow this. It only allows refund within 5 days of purchase, if you change your mind. But I did not change my mind. It was totally the merchant's fault. Living social gave me a credit for future purchase. But with this kind of customer service, who would want to deal with them again? Total waste of money.
