Chris the salesman Jeb the mechanic Price Gouging Liars with NO morals

I have a Tao Tao Paladin 150cc scooter and it was not starting. I called this company and they explained that it would be $50 for them to look at the bike and and tell me exactly what is wrong, how much it would cost and how long it would take to repair.

The scooter was picked up by a freelance tow guy and I was told by Marobo that he charges $45 for a one way tow (he only charges 30). It was droped off at marobo motors on a saturday morning just after 11:00. This is when they were supposed to call me and let me know it arrived.

I had to call them 3 times on saturday just to confirm they had it. They said they did finally and that they would be working on it that afternoon.

Monday comes and I have to call them from work to find out what is wrong with it. I get ahold of Chris the sales guy ALL he is able to tell me is that they have a body panel off it. I personally was able to strip all the body panels off in less than an hour.

Teusday. I call them to check the status of my scooter and I spoke with a different mechanic there that was not working on it and all he could tell me is that Jeb had taken a spark plug out.

Wednesday (today) I Finally get ahold of Jeb (the mechanic) and he tells me that its not getting a spark so he needs to replace the stater and that the part is $179 plus tax and a hour labor. I have a family member call while im at work to check on it and they tell her that they have to order the part and it would be in sometime next week. To me that was unaccaptable so as soon as I got off work I called another scooter shop and told them what part I need and for what kind of scooter it is.

The stater is only $79.99 so I tell them to pull one out of stock so I could pick it up. I call Chris at Marobo Motors back and he tries telling me that the scooter store was selling me the wrong part, so I went in and spoke to the head mechanic and he explained to me and the people at Marobo Motors how it was the exact right part. Not to mention I bought the scoooter from this second scooter shop.

At this point I decide that I would rather have the shop im geting the part at do the repair so I call them and tell them im having the scooter picked up by the guy that droped it off and taking it to this more honest store. They put me through to Jeb and he tried to tell me that he said it was only a $129 part and that i miss heard him, well that was just a blatent lie seeing as how i was writing down everything jeb told me AND I repeated it back to him $179 for the stater?

I expressed my distaste for the unethecal treatment I was receiving from them and that I am having it repaired by the other company. The salesman Chris tries calling on my way home from the shop and say that it was just a missunderstanding and that If we bring the part in they would install it for $79.

At this point I will not deal with them so It is said that we are not going to use them, they lied about the price of the part, how much the tow guy charges, and who know what else. Long story short the second shop stated that Thursday they will have the part in the scooter after it is droped off later that day. And at a flat rate.

DO not go to Marobo Motors. They are Crooks AND Liars that will take you for as much money as they can if you let them. I did not.
