I rented a 12 foot trailer from U-Haul for a cross country trip. After they hooked up the trailer hitch to my van hitch, I loaded it and began my 3000 mile journey. Only 200 miles into the trip, the trialer hitch broke causing a serious accident. Not only did U-Haul's Insurance (Western Republic) not pay for the damages which included a totaled van and emergency room fees, they refused to return my rental fees for the defective trailer. I finished my trip with Ryder.
