CARRENTALS.com give a deceptively low number for a rental car estimated total price—which appears in a large red font. Then, immediately below the estimated price, in a small grey font, it says. 25 usd/mi. You could easily miss this or misunderstand it. They don't really say PLUS. 25 usd/mi, which would help to make it clearer that their estimated total price is not a true estimate of toal price at all. I was quoted a $452.84 "total price" for a full size car for 5 days in which I would have put about 500 miles on the car. This would have pushed MY estimated total price up another $125, which they tried to conceal. What a ripoff!
