Etobicoke location 19.99 rental is a SCAM. On Friday 13th July I have picked up the truck from the Etobicoke store located at 5429 Dundas St West. I returned the truck after 2 hours, I only drove 15 km on it. The

So, people in the area, be ware of the guy who operates this particular store! He was in the store on Friday July 13th, at 5pm. Do not give him your credit card if possible, pay cash. The truck was given to me with 1/8th of tank full. The guy said its ok not to fill the gas. I still managed to get by with 1/8th of a tank, as I only drove 14.6 km. How is the fuel charge turned into hefty $65? The total rental cost me $125 for 2 hour truck and 1 dolly! The customer service of Uhaul have agreed that the fuel charge is ridiculous compared to 14.6 km used! Also, the charge per 1 km is $1.11, not 0.69 as advertised. The customer service of the copany is helpful, but you have to call and waste your precious time as you are in the middle of the move.
