Ripoff bad customer service faulty equipment

Having used Uhaul in the past I was never dissapointed in their product. This time was different. Once the truck was loaded we discovered a flat tire. It took five and a half hours to fix the problem. Along with about 10 phone calls to their customer service who were not at all helpful. They said that I had run over a nail or something on the way to my apartment and that must have caused the problem.

The tech that changed the tire said that it was very worn and fraying and that was the cause. We were also not informed that the policy on gas had changed and returned the truck with a full tank of gas. When we picked it up it had an eigth of a tank. They would not reimburse us for the gas. After several phone calls and emails they offered my $20 off my next service with them. I said no thank you. I manage rental properties for a living and will definately not recommend their company to anyone again.
