Rip-Off It would take OVER a week for them to say they had all the info they needed

Where do I begin. I was hit by an individual that was insured by Safeway Insurance on 8-14-04. First of all, this person was from Mexico and had an International Drivers License. He spoke NO English and seemed to be under the influence of something. This individual ran a red light and struck me on the drivers side. If he would have hit my door, I would not be writing this today.

Anyways, I called Safeway on Monday 8-16-04 and explained to them that I was hit by one of their insurees. From that day on it has been a living hell. I was assigned a claim number and advised that I would be contacted by a person by the name of Vicki.

Well, 1 day went by and no one contacted me, so I called and was advised that Vicki was not in, I would have to speak with a lady named Marlene Haggerty. I spoke with Marlen and provided her with the police report and filled out paper work she wanted to mail to me. I wanted to get this handled as quick as possible so I requested that she FAX it to me. Well, after all the paper work was filled out and faxed to her.

It would take OVER a week for them to say they had all the info they needed. EVERYDAY it was something new, I didn't send this or I didn't have that. The adjuster looked at my vehicle 2 days after I reported the accident to safeway. It took him a WEEK to complete the adjustment.

To date I have yet to receive money for my vehicle. I only had 5 days with a rental car. I had to even fax invoices on PARTS on a prior accident that I had. This company is rediculous. Please BEWARE of this company and the following people..
