Discount tire gives the run arount when it comes to expensive purchases

Its been a 7 year issue. I bought a set of rims and tires from discount tire in merriville indiana on october 28. After the shop wrote the sales slip i noticed that they had written the wrong rims and price on my recipt. If thats not bad enough i looked at my car when it was finished and noticed that the chrome as well as tbe black paint was bubbling and immediately notified the manager who told me that the rims were under warranty for a period of one year and he would order me an entirely new set. The chrome and paint had started to peel within three months of the purchase and by the 6th month my rims looked like they were already ten years old and have gotten worse and worse over time. Ive also been told by tire techs at discount tire that driving the car with the rims like they are is a safety issue because the chrome on the back side of the rim is what helps seal the air in the tire, and that theres a possibility that one day it can rust through and the rim could break while im driving and that can cause a bad accident. As time went on i called and called and also asked in person if they had come in yet and every time i was told that the order was put in but i never saw my new rims.

Finally the year period was up and the staff as well as management was different and noone had any knowledge of what was going on. Well a year went by and nothing was done to rite the situation. I asked and was told that the warranty was up and they could do nothing.

Ive bought tires from there since then and asked at both stores in my area and no one would help me. So finally i contacted the district assistant vice president on friday who pretty much gave me the run around as well and would only tell me that he would only SELL me a new set of rims at cost. They have absolutely refused to rite the wrong that theyve done since the beginning. Now my only option is to report these irresponsible people and let the public know how they really are.
