Deceptive pratices by Dealership manager-Paul Zee - 2011 Ford Fiesta

Cars & Transport

On February 21 I purchased a pre-owned 2011 Ford Fiesta SES vehicle from the above mentioned dealership. The first pre-owned vehicle I have eber purchased. I hav always purchased new vehicles. I purchased in the past, 2 New Ford XLT Explorers with no problem, and have purchased other Ford Trucks from Ford dealers with no problems and excellant customer service. On this date, Paul Zee was present when I did my pre purchase inspection of the vehicle and pointed out the problems. Mr. Zee stated "No problem I will take care of it" I also asked Mr. Zee about the owners manual and vehicle information which was normally in the glovebox and he stated again" I will take care of it" I asked Mr. Zee to make sure that the car was cleaned and detailed and that the fluids were topped off and the vehicle was ready to drive off the lot, his response was "Don't worry about it, I will take care of it" Upon completion of the contracts, Mr. Zee stood up, turned his back on me and proceeded to the area where the initial car salesman was hand washing the vehicle. He asked the salesman if he was done and he said "No" I still have to finish the windows. Mr. Zee responded by stateing forget the windows and go gas the vehicle up, at which time the saleman left the lot and went and gassed the vehicle up. When I asked about the paperwork relative to the vehicle warranty, and service schedle to include the owners manual Mr. Zee ignored my request and walked away. I was then told by Mr. Zee that the salesman would follow me home with the vehicle and that I was to bring the salesman back to the dealership. Mr. Zee was in such a hurry to get rid of me that he failed to place the DMV paperwork and properly display it in the windshield. Needless to say, I left with a vehicle that was partially clean, (no detail as promised) The vehicle was not gone over by the service department to ensure that all fluids were topped off and that it was road worthy, not even a explanation of the vehicles nomenclature, nothing. I was handed the second set of keys by Mr. Zee, without even a thank you or drop dead statement after spending over $18,000.00 dollars at this dealership. I don't even want to go into the contract portion and the shell game Mr. Zee performed! On March 21 I received a call from Mr. Zee who stated that he doesn't remember the conversation or the pre-vehicle inspection or my concerns. He also denied ever stating that he would take care of the problems or lack of service. He did state that there was no detailer on site the date of my purchase thats why it wasn't detailed. I guess there was no sevice personnl on duty in the middle of the day andf week to perform the service needs as well! Mr. Zee insulted my intelligence when he told me that he thought I was happy that day when I left the dealership because I was smiling, I told him "How would he know, you turned your back on me and walked away without addressing my concerns" Mr. Zee hen stated "I'm sorry you feel that way" and hung up the phone on me! All I want is an apology, my vehicle gone over and the service I pointed out performed and the owners manual and related documentation provided to me.
