Please read before you deal with this company. It will save you a migraine and money

My brakes needed repair so I contacted this company. Originally it was guaranteed zero down and payments. Also, I was guaranteed that my vehicle would be ready the next day. It was towed there and I was left without a vehicle putting my trust in their word.

I call the next day and talk to the manager inquiring about the status of my vehicle. He told me the mechanic left early for the day and a mechanic would start working on my car the following Tuesday. I dropped my car off on a Thursday. Also, I was quoted for my brakes to cost around $300. The final total came out to over $800. I had to talk to him for about 30 minutes on what being an honest company was about before he decided to have his mechanic come in Saturday to work on my car.

Saturday comes around and I call first thing to make sure my car was going to be worked on. Then he said I need to put 20% down in order for the mechanics to start working on the car. He told me that he would call me right back. I waited an hour and continued to call until one of his assistants picked up and informed me that he left for the day.

9/10 times I'll give a company the benefit of the doubt before handing out a negative review. This is the one time where I will post a negative review just to protect other consumer's money. Once your car is in their possession, new stipulations come into play. They are not a respectable company and it is ran poorly from the top down. The manager has zero concern for his customers and he'll let you know. Once your vehicle is in their possession, they know they have all the power that they need to get the most money out of you. Please, find anyone else to do your auto repairs. You'll even save hundreds going straight to the dealership. People need to know that there are still businesses who's sole purpose is to take advantage of people and the hard money that they earn day in and day out. Motor Maxx Jacksonville is that company.
